Upcoming Events

Stan will be attending these upcoming community events.

 

September

Tuesday the 7th, will be the Corona Transit Center Grand Opening at 10 am.  The location is 31 East Grand Boulevard (info).

On Thursday the 9th and Friday the 10th, Stan will be the guest of local residents for two meet and greet sessions, each starting at 7:30 pm.  For more information, please contact Stacy Nicola at (951) 314-8306 or email her at Stacy@SkipworthForCouncil.com.

On Saturday the 11th...Stan will be at the Lions' Club Breakfast at the Corona Public Library, which gets underway at 7 am.  Later in the evening, Stan will be attending the Ira Calvert YMCA awards.

Friday the 17th, come join Stan at The Fender Center to enjoy the Steve Miller Band.

Saturday the 18th, Stan will be a guest speaker at the California Business Leaders of America training at Santiago High School.

Tuesday the 21st Stan will be attending the Boy Scouts of America Distinguished Citizens Dinner at Eagle Glen.

On Thursday the 23rd Stan will be attending the City Council Candidates Forum hosted by The Corona Norco Republican Women at Mill Creek Restaurant, which gets underway at 6:15 pm.

On Saturday the 25th, join Stan and thousands more for the annual Foundation for Community & Family Health Walk at Dos Lagos.  The event begins at 7:30 am.

Also on the 25th, at 7 pm, is the Corona Public Library Foundation's "Love In/Big Bopper Bash". 

On Thursday the 30th, Stan will participate in a Candidates' Forum hosted by The Inland Gateway Association of Realtors (TIGAR).  This will be held at 321 E. Sixth Street and begins at 10:30 am.

 

October

On Saturday the 2nd, Stan will be at City Park for the Corona Life Services Walk.  The event begins at 7:30 am.

Also on the 2nd, from 9 am to 2 pm is Public Safety Day at Costco Center off McKinley.  Stan will be there.  This is a tremendous event with many great displays and activities for families--please plan to come by.

On Thursday the 7th, Stan will be attending the Greater Corona Valley Chamber of Commerce Quarterly Luncheon at Crossroads Church.

Saturday the 9th Stan will be helping at the "Empty Bowls" event.  The event runs noon to 6 pm, and will be held at the Church on the Hill, 2000 Norco Avenue in Norco.

At 5 pm on the 9th is the Inspire Life Skills Dinner at the Retreat. 

On Wednesday the 13th at 11:30 am is the Greater Corona Valley Chamber of Commerce Candidate Forum Luncheon hosted at Sizzler Restaurant, 1461 Rimpau Avenue.

Saturday the 16th at 9 am Peace Lutheran Church, located at 280 E. Ontario Avenue, will hold the Groundbreaking Ceremony for the Community Gardens Project.

On Monday the 18th at 5:30 pm is a Joint Session between Corona and Riverside City Councils.  More details of this joint session will be announced soon.

On the 19th at 5 pm Stan will be at the Corona Public Library for its "Take a Hike" event.

Saturday the 23rd at 5 pm is the Soroptimist Chocolate Wine & Jazz Festival.

And on Sunday, from noon to 4 pm is the Red Ribbon Week Family Fun Festival at Promenade Park.
